AfricaConnect

The Il Talento all’Opera Foundation supports the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies’ AfricaConnect project and has decided to support it by taking action in a completely new area of intervention for the Foundation.

AfricaConnect is conducted by the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, which has been working for decades to create more inclusive, safe and resilient communities in Africa, in line with the sustainability and development support goals of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

The areas of intervention that characterise AfricaConnect’s action break down into five fundamental areas – human rights; sustainability; health; territorial impact; partnerships – to express the enormous environmental, economic and social development potential of the African continent in an equitable and sustainable manner, with an ethical approach to research for the benefit of local communities.

The Foundation’s grant in 2023 supported the twenty-day mission to Ethiopia of twenty students from all disciplines of the School, accompanied by a team of faculty members from various disciplines.
